There was an interesting aside to Marty Rea’s hole-in-one on Saturday.
He played with Olcan Kearney, who had a 2, Sean McEvoy, a 3, and Andrew Carville a 4. A very tidy looking 1, 2, 3, 4, which saw the four players finish the hole in 10 shots between them. If Andrew had parred the hole, which he does more often than not, they would have played the hole in single figures between them.
Fourball golf couldn’t get much better than that!
