Race To Lough Erne Week 6on Monday 23 February 2015 - 11:47:00
In the Premiership Week five leaders The Lamb Chaps slipped up and have dropped to joint second along with The Babe’s Beasts and The Champions. Ian Harrison captained his team well on week six and the claim top spot on 24 points. In the Championship Francie’s Followers have opened up a two point gap on their nearest rivals and the Tweedle Dee’s have pulled level with the Rat Pack on thirteen points each so it will be interesting to see which team can claim the bragging rights after week seven of these category one golfers. Well done the Red Arrows who claimed their first points after six weeks to move out of joint bottom that now only has The Lemon Doggers and Terry Allsorts with no points at all. This is the last week to score in both leagues so we wish all teams well.

Francie Tallon leads the chasing pack on 141 points and then there is a four point gap with a number of players sitting with 137 points. This week is your last chance to put in a big score as your best four cards out of six that count.
Winter League Week 6on Monday 23 February 2015 - 10:33:23
Rodger McIlwaine’s 37pts, off 9, gave him this week’s top prize and was the first leg of a nice weekend double which saw him lift Sunday’s Sweep as well. Having gone a long time without a win he will be both delighted and surprised at the way his weekend turned out and will no doubt be eagerly anticipating his next golfing outing. On Saturday he balanced birdies at 4 and 10 with bogeys at 15 and 17 for a level par round to add to an already impressive golfing CV.

Winter League Individual Positions Week 5on Sunday 15 February 2015 - 18:49:48
Walter Simpson’s impressive Winter League form doesn’t seem to be waning with M&H keeping him well monitored for the up and coming new season. He has opened up a six point lead for himself for the best overall Winter League Prize. It’s still there to be won and with your best four from six cards counting anything can still happen. There are several well seasoned players hovering in the wings and ready to pounce. Timmy Cummins, Francie Tallon, Martin McKinstry, Bill Leslie and of course Walter’s team mate Maurice Turnbull.
Winter League Week 5on Sunday 15 February 2015 - 18:33:23
Having just missed out on the prizes last week with 36pts, Gareth Smyth knew he would have to improve if he was ever to find a place on the podium. Yesterday he did just that and will be contentedly reflecting upon a ‘job well done’ after 37pts, off 12, gave him an overdue outright victory. A steady first half left him in good shape at the turn and a level par return journey, thanks to birdies at 10 and 15, completed the job.
